DalinYebo is the only independent sustainable technology developer in South Africa ..
.. with a proven record of success and a vision of sustainable development of Chemicals and Energy from renewable resources. DalinYebo Innovations (“DYI”), a division of DalinYebo Trading and Development (Pty) Ltd, is the R&D arm of the DalinYebo Group for the invention, development and implementation of industrial processes to convert bio-resources into energy and chemicals. In the first instance DYI focuses on the Complete Conversion of Carbon to Commercial Chemicals, aka ‘C5’ and energy. C5 infers using all the organic components of agricultural by-products or crops, such as sugars, cellulose, hemi-cellulose and lignin and metabolites derived therefrom to produce chemicals through unit processes that it will invent or apply. The remaining residue from such process will be converted to energy (steam/electricity).
Our strong accent on practical Research and Development is supplement – in addition to the work carried out by DYI – by the addition of new and novel 3rd party technologies (under license) to our development portfolios: These technologies often need customisation to a client’s environments and/or needs and are sourced via our international relationships
We have an impeccable track record in the conceptualising and executing such projects using an interdisciplinary approach. Since 2001, we have refined our methodologies and knowhow during the development and the commercialisation the novel SupraYield® process, during which we co-ordinate the work of specialists that are housed in discipline silos and who speak different technical languages
Via our successful relationship with the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), we undertook multidisciplinary R&D and brought together experts from the following illustrative list of disciplines:
Process engineering
Process chemistry
Thermodynamics
Agricultural science
Agricultural engineering
Agronomy
Materials science
Mechanical engineering
Electrical engineering
Computer engineering
Energy engineering
Project management
Risk assessment and management
Business analysis
